We acknowledge that we are meeting on the Unceded, Traditional land of the Algonquin People.
As settlers, we’re grateful for this opportunity, and we thank the generations of People who have been Stewards of this land, for thousands of years.
We recognize, and deeply appreciate their historic connection to this place. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and all other Indigenous Peoples who have shaped and strengthened this community.
We make a collective commitment to do our utmost to uphold the recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
